Little Things #3

Another positive week, this week, for happenings, including:

  • In between all the rain we got a couple of really gloriously sunny days. And though the temps never really got passed 20C, I’m not complaining as we were able to get out and about for a couple of walks.

  • Also finally started reading Shorefall by Robert Jackson Bennett, book 2 in the Foundryside trilogy. And wow, we’re off again on another breakneck adventure battling the forces of evil, in a race against time. Of course!

  • This might not sound like a positive point or something to be happy about, but, let me tell you, getting a call from the hospital to schedule my next CT in advance, for June 12, made me happy. It means I have time to mentally prep, and also get my drugs ahead of time.

  • We binge watched the new Netflix scifi series, The Boroughs, starring Alfred Molina, Alfre Woodard, and Geena Davis (among others) over a couple of nights. Think of it as an OAP version of Stranger Things but condensed down into eight snappy episodes. This is a must-see show.

  • We finally got to the mall to the (relatively) new cinema this Saturday to see The Madalorian & Grogu. Which, of course, was sublime. Plenty of break-neck action, a lot of corny jokes, and even a couple of tender moments between Mando and Grogu. Plus, of course, loved all the cameo appearances.

And you, what small things brought you delight this past week, if anything?
