The sun was shining brightly on Saturday, with a warm breeze that was just perfect to go for a walkabout in my neighbourhood. So, iPhone in hand, I snapped a few pictures to share with you.
It’s funny how, on a Saturday, the streets are fairly quiet hereabouts because, I assume, everyone’s hopped in their cars and gone elsewhere. Which is fine by me.
These are the grounds of one of Quebec City’s many district Catholic diocese buildings, don’t ask me which as I really don’t have a clue. They have extensive ground that are always lovely.
My other favourite things is the house round the on the corner block from my apartment building …
I love that, ever since that first lockdown in 2020, they don’t cut the grass having long since gone to flower. As a result, it attracts a ton of bees and butterflies because of all the daisies.
And you, do you like to go walkabout in your local neighbourhood, and what do you see?
Oooh I just saw some wild daisies yesterday! Samesies!
Ha! How lovely is that? And there’s something fun and happy about seeing so many daisies together.
What a beautiful place to walk, and how nice that it wasn’t too busy on a Saturday. The wild daisies are wonderful! I enjoyed your photos!
We do have lovely streets around here, Michelle. I am lucky to live in a nice neighbourhood. All the green and lovely gardens.
And thank you.
