Where Do You Do It?

Come on, people, I want to know. Where do you do it?

Do you do it at breakfast, or over the dinner table when alone, how about in bed or even in the bath? And would you consider doing it in the shower? Have you done it while stirring the pasta sauce, or maybe leaning up against the kitchen cabinets? Or how about with your back up against the radiator while sat on the floor? Is your thing to do it while riding the bus, the tube, or sitting in the back seat of a taxi? Maybe you’re the kind who sneaks off to the bathroom, to do it in secret, while at work?

Or maybe, you’re the kind of person who prefers to do it on the sofa, in the privacy of your own home?

What the hell, I hear you asking, am I talking about?

Why, reading, of course, what did you think I was talking about?

So tell me, where do you do it?

In bed, on the train and non-stop when I’m on holiday.

Bed for the majority of the time… a hotel bed. I used to read on any kind of transport but I can’t do that anymore… and if I’m on the sofa, I’m watching TV.

Oh! There is the car, however, I get through loads of books whilst driving… You figure it out :)

Ha! Ha! Lisa – I knew there would be one bed-person at least, but in the car, while driving? Hmm… audio books me thinks! Tease!

There was a time when I use to read in bed, however, these days, I fall asleep even before the covers are over me.

Hey Bren – Looks like you’re the kind of loose woman who’ll do it just about anywhere!

  5. Lisa says:

Ah – but have you ever sat in a hotel “comfy chair”???! They obviously never try-before-they-buy or they wouldn’t subject their paying guests to those back cripplers…

    Hence – the bed :)

And yes – Audio books. Not as many as I have paperbacks, but I now have more audio books than music CDs :)

Eek! I kind of forgot about that, not having been in as many hotels as you, Lisa. So yeah, it would be the bed. Heh! Heh!

Hey, I too would buy more audio tapes/CDs to listen too if they were at a reasonable price, but dearer than a hardback? No siree!

eBay… the audio book collectors dream!

  8. Alexandra says:

Now why didn’t I think of there, Lisa? Doh!
