Wouldn’t you know it, the postman came this morning while I was out at the bank, and Miss Tight-buns here thought she’d answer the door, accept the delivery package from Amazon thinking it was for her, and then? Opened it.
Drat! Wasn’t she belligerent later, even after I said “thanks” when I tried to take the book. You know, she actually threatened me with her laser. Me? Saying she’d blast me outta the galaxy if she didn’t get to read this one first, as she was a huge fan of Jim C. Hines!
Mind made up, there’s no arguing with Princess Leia. Looks like I’m relegated to reading this one later. Bummer, Jim!

As a keen amateur photographer there’s plenty of beautiful things in the natural world that make me sigh out loud, and sights that simply take my breath away. But make me salivate?
Ah! Well, in a word. No. I only tend to feel my mouth watering when it comes to gizmos, gadgets and the latest technical widget, other than maybe a deliciously cooked piece of steak… and no, before you ask, I don’t mean *that* kind of gadget either. Eew!
